An experimenter has conducted a single-factor experiment with four levels of the factor, and each factor level has been replicated six times. The computed value of the F-statistic is F0 = 3.26. Find the P-value. Indicate the sampling distribution of the F-statisticand the method or software utilized.

    0.0430

    Step-by-step explanation:

    here numerator degree of freedom = number of factors, K - 1 = 4-1=3

    we have the formula denominator degree of freedom = k * (n-1) = 4 * (6-1) = 20

therefore sampling distribution of statistics follow F distribution with degree of freedom (3,20)

Software used here is MS Excel

for above test statistic and (3,20) df, from excel; p value = Fdist (3.26,3,20) = 0.0430
