    Step-by-step explanation:

The total length of the ribbon is 2 meters. She used 1/4 of the ribbon to tie her hair. This means that the length of the ribbon that she used in tying her hair is 1/4*2 = 1/2 meter

She used 1/2 of the ribbon to tie a parcel. This means that the length of the ribbon that she used in tying the parcel is 1/2*2 = 1 meter

    A) The length of total ribbon used will be 1/2 + 1 = 3/2 meters

    B) the length of ribbon left would be total length - length of ribbon used. It becomes

    2 - 3/2 = 1/2 meters
