If the pattern were to continue, the pattern would be

    17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35,37, 39, 41, 43, 45

    45 is the 15th term

    Just substitute n with 15.

    so it would be:

    n+2

    15+2

    =17

So, the 1st term is 17. Now do the pattern:

    17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, 41, 43, 45 ...

So, the 15th term would be 45.
