A gumball machine is in the shape of a sphere with a radius of 9 inches. A store manager wants to fill up the machine with gumballs, which have a radius of 3/4in. How many gumballs will fit in the machine?

    c=pi 9^2

    C = 254.469 (machine)

    c = pi r^2

    c = pi. 75^2

    C=1.767 (gumballs)

    254.469/1.767

    45.5625

    45 gumballs
