The total distance cover in the trip to Las Vegas and back is 8640 miles

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given as:

The on trip speed of plane = 432 mile per hour

The return trip speed of plane = 480 mile per hour

The time taken in return trip = 9 hour

So, let the distance cover in return trip = D miles

    ∴ Distance = speed * time

    Or, D = 480 mile per hour * 9 hour

    So, D = 4320 miles

    I. e Total distance of the trip = 2 * 4320 = 8640 miles

Hence The total distance cover in the trip to Las Vegas and back is 8640 miles Answer
