    W = 45000 - 780h

    Step-by-step explanation:

    There were 45000 gallons of water in the swimming pool initially.

    Given that at a constant rate i. e. 780 gallons of water per hour is being drained out of the swimming pool.

    When the pool has no more than 15,000 gallons of water remaining a chemical additive must be added with water.

    Therefore, the equation that gives the remaining water after h hours in the pool is

    W = 45000 - 780h (Answer)
