eric kweeder can paint a wall in 14 minutes. His brother, Jessup can paint the same wall in 35 minutes. How long will it take them working together to paint the wall?

    First find the rate of each painter given the time it takes for them each to complete the job.

    Eric rate: 1/14 of the job per minute

    Brother: 1/35 of the job per minute

    Together: 1/14+1/35 = 7/70 = 1/10 of the job per minute
