A. In Cumings's recreation of Vincent van Gogh's The Starry Night, one square foot has 138 blue, 130 orange, and 10 green jelly beans. The rest are yellow. What is the ratio of orange to green jelly beans?

B. One square foot has 636 jelly beans. What is the ratio of yellow to the total number of jelly beans?

    For part a you take the number of orange jelly beans which is 130 and green jelly beans which is and insert the colon 130:10. If you need to simplify it then you would put it over as a fraction 130/10 simplified is 13:1

    For part b you would do something similar there are an unknown amount of yellow jelly beans to 636 jelly beans. So you would add all the jelly beans you know the amounts of then subtract it from the total. 138+130+10 less from 636 is 358. So you have 358 yellow jelly beans. To conclude the ratio would be 358:636, simplified it would be 179:318
