    Add one to each side which gives you 0.2x=0

    Then divide each side by 0.2 so that the 0.2s on the same side cancel out so you're left with 0/0.2 so the answer would be x = 0

    Step-by-step explanation:

    0.2x - 1 = - 1

    first write out the problem

    0.2x - 1 = - 1

    +1 + 1 Add 1 to both sides to remove the - 1 from the same side as x

    0.2x = 0

    /0.2 / 0.2 Divide the number being multiplied with x to get x alone

    0/0.2 = 0

    x = 0 Now you have the answer.
