Caleb wants to rent a kayak. Kayak rentals cost $14.50 for half a hour. If Caleb rents a kayak for one hour and forty five minutes, how much will it cost him

    14.50•2=29.00

    29.00 = 1 hour renting a kayak

    So for another 30 minutes add 29.00+14.50 = 43.50

    Then take 30 and divide it by 15 to get 2

    Then divide 14.50 by 2 to get 7.25

    Therefore, 43.50+7.25 = $50.75 after 1 hour and 45 minutes.
