A ramp is 17 feet in length and covers a horizontal distance of 15 feet. It rises vertically 8 feet above the floor. What is the sine of the angle between the horizontal and the ramp?

    Sine = opposite / hypotenuse

    Sine (angle) = 8 / 17 = 0.4705882353

    angle = arc sine (0.4705882353)

    angle = 28.072
