    Note that 1 foot = 12 inches.

    'Turn 3 feet into inches

    3 feet = 36

    8 can go into thirty-six 4 times.

    8 * 4 = 32

    36 - 32 = 4 (inches left of ribbon)

Yes, 4 inches of ribbon will be left over.

    Best of Luck!
