A diver begins at 140 feet below sea level. She descends at a steady rate of 7 feet per minute for 4.5 minutes. Then, she ascends 112.2 feet. What is her current depth?

    Alright lets look at this problem the first step is to find out how far down she went in 4.5 minutes. so 7*4.5=31.5 ft next what you have to do is add 31.5 ft to 140 ft which is 171.5 ft next you need to subtract 112.2 ft from 171.5 ft which means that the divers current depth must be 59.3 Ft.
