Is - 7/8 bigger than - 0.74

To find out which one is bigger you will have to turn them both into decimals or both into fractions. For me I think that the easier way would be changing - 7/8 do a decimal. If you change - 7/8 into a fraction you will do - 7 divided by 8 and get - 0.875. When you compare the two numbers - 0.74 is the greater number.

-7/8 = -.88 so ... i gusse it is bigger than -.74
