The numerator of a certain fraction is 3 more than the denominator. If 2/5

is added to the fraction, the result is 2. Find the fraction.

    If we convert 2 to a fraction with a denominator of 5 we get 10/5. Work backwards and subtract 2/5 to get 8/5. Which meets the criteria of having a numerator 3 larger than the denominator
