How do u use equivalent rates in the real world

    We use rates in real world when we are comparing two numbers of different types. For example, lets say you are a car driver and your car travels 135 miles in 3 hours its rate would be 135/3 and its unit rate would be 45/1. So that means your car would travel 45 miles per hour.
