    Perimeter is 18 1/6 feet.

    Perimeter is solved by adding the length and width of the rectangle and multiplying the sum by 2.

    P = 2 (l + w)

    length = 5 1/3 ⇒ (5*3) + 1/3 = 16/3

    width = 3 3/4 ⇒ (3*4) + 3/4 = 15/4

    In adding fractions, make sure that the denominators are the same. Both 3 and 4 are factors of 12. So, we need to multiply each fraction to get 12.

    16/3 * 4/4 = 64/12

    15/4 * 3/3 = 45/12

    Length + Width = 64/12 + 45/12 = (64+45) / 12 = 109/12

    P = 2 * 109/12

    P = 218/12

    P = 18 2/12 ⇒ 18 1/6 feet
