    Average rate of change of f (n) = (f (6) - f (2)) / (6 - 2) = [8 (1.05) (6) - 8 (1.05) (2) ] / (6 - 2) = (50.4 - 16.8) / 4 = 33.6/4 = 8.4

Average rate of change represents the change in f (n) for every one unit change in n.
