A cafeteria sells entrees and additional items. an entree costs $4.75, and each additional item costs $1.25. a costumer pays $9.75 for one entree and some additional items. how many additional items were ordered?

    Just add $1.25 to $4.75 till you get up to $9.75 and count how many times you added $1.25 which should be 4 times
