Explain how adding - 3/10 + 4/10 is like adding 3+4

    Basically, since both fractions have a like denominator, you just have to add across, but if the denominators were different, you'd have to to do more work. and it's the same without the denominators because all you're really doing is just crossing them out and adding across.
