A cheerleader is being held 4 feet off the ground. She is tossed into the air with an initial speed of 32 feet per second. Her height t seconds after she is thrown can be estimated by 4+32t-16tsecondpower. About how high is the cheerleader 2 seconds after she is tossed?

    The cheerleader is already 4 feet above the ground to start with

    if she's being tossed at 32 feet per second and you want her height after 2 seconds, you just multiply 32 by 2=64 feet

    64 feet + the initial 4 feet = 68 feet
