Use the associative property to identify which expression is equal to (17) (13) (7x).

A - (17 * 13 * 7) (x)

B - (17) (13) (7x)

C - 13 (17 + 7x)

D - (7x) (13) (17)

If anyone could explain/why how they got the answer that would be fabulous!

(You don't have to, I wanted to just understand how I would've got that.)

Associative property is changing the grouping in multiplication and it won't affect the product.

    So (17) (13) (7x) could equal (17) (7x) (13) or (7x) (13) (17) etc ...

So the answer in here is D (7x) (13) (17)
