The final velocity of an object moving in one dimension is given by the formula v = u + at, where u is the initial velocity, a is the acceleration, and t is the time.

Solve this equation for a.

a = (v + u) / t

a = t (v + u)

a = t (v - u)

a = (v - u) / t

    To solve for "a" all you need to do is move the rest of the variables to the other side by doing the opp. operation

    v=u + at, you would first move the "u" by subtracting since it's positive

    so you have v-u=at,

    then you would divide the "t" on both sides since it's multiplying with a

    so you get

    (v-u) / t=a

    answer choice A
