    There are 2 sides to a coin so 2 outcomes so far

    then 3 balls to chose from so 3 times as many

    so

    h=heads

    t=tails

    r=red

    b=blue

    g=green

    I will put them into slots where column 1 is coins and column 2 is color of ball

    1, 2

    h, r

    h, b

    h, g

    t, r

    t, b

    t, g

    there are 6 possible outcomes

    another way is to multiply all the choices together so 2 coin choices and 3 ball choices so 2 times 3=6
