How do you convert an imprperfraction into a mixed number.

    You divide the numerator by the denominator and then you keep the left tover fraction with the whole number. There now u know how to change an improperfaction to a mixed number

    Just divide the two numbers, find the quotient, put it as the whole number part, than use the remainder and put it over the original denominator, and that will be your fraction part.

    ex. 17/4 - - > 17/4 = 4 remainder 1. Your answer is 4 1/4
