(b) Pretend that you need to explain to a friend what happens when you divide two negative decimals.

    (a) it is always true - 5.2 x (-1.4) = 7.28 AND - 1.4 x (-3.6) = 5.04

    (b) the rule for multiplying negatives is negative x negative = positive.
