    A linear equation is a line

    it has infinite solutions when the equations are the same, since a line extends forever (infinity)

    so exg

    y=2x+4 and

    2y=4x+8

    they are the same line so the solutions are infinite

    so when the equations are the same as each other there are infinite soltuions
