The South Beach diet was given to a volunteer group of 25 people who were at least 50 pounds overweight. 18 people from the group lost at least 20 pounds. What should we conclude about the effectiveness of the diet?

    18 out of 25 people from the group lost at least 20 pounds. The sout beach diest given is effective in 72% of people. That can be concluded because 18 people is already a significant amount. But if you to test futher the validity of the diest a research methods should be properly observed.
