f. by 5 pm that same day, the outside temperature had increased by 43.59%. at 3 am the next day, the temperature had decreased by 25% of the temperature reading taken at 5 pm the previous day. determine, with the given information, what the outside temperature was at 3 am the next day. round your answer to the nearest degree.

    Temperature at 5pm = 1.4359 x 39 = 56.0001°F

    Temperature at 3am the next day = (1 - 0.25) x 56.0001 = 0.75 x 56.0001 = 42°F
