The temperature in Alaska is currently - 27 degrees F. The temperature in Texas is 72 degrees F. How much warmer is Texas than Alaska?

    99 degrees warmer because since - 27 a negative number you have to add 27 to get to 0 so Alaska is then 72 degrees which is a positive number so you add 72+27 and get 99
