What is 1/11 + 2/11 simplified

    Since they both have the same denominator is add them across. Add the numerators, 2+1=3 and keep the deniminators the same. The answer is 3/11. You cannot simplify these numbers because they are prime.

    3/11 is the answer.

    Just add the numerator together and for the denominator you don't have to do anything since its both the same number.
