The range of a function is the set of all the possible function outputs. We know that sin theta varies between - 1 and 1 if we draw a graph. According to the graph, the largest number that is an output of g is - 1, and the smallest number is 1. Every number between them is also an output of g for some input.

=> Therefore, the range of g is [-1,1].
