    The first thing you have to remember is y=mx+b

    3x-8y=-32

    -3x - 3x

    -8y=-3x-32

    Divide - 8 for everything.

    y = 3/8x + 4

    If you are wondering why the answers aren't negative, remember that when you divide a negative by another negative, it becomes positive.
