    It is false that hunter-gatherer societies traditionally occupied the same territories year-round in order to care for their livestock. These types of societies did not really have any livestock that they took care of, because they would hunt an animal, eat them immediately or store their meat for a later time in the year, and do this almost every day so as to avoid running out of food. They moved quite a lot once they depleted an area of animals, so the answer is definitely false.
