Collin asked every 8th grade scholar entering the school which subject was his or her favorite. He surveyed a total of 200 students. Can the results of collins survey be used to draw inferences about students favorite subjects at the school?

    I'm going to go on a limb here and say the answer is no. The 8th graders alone do not represent an entire school and so it can't be used to make an inference about the school as a whole.
