    60.5*46.5=2813.25

    60.5*0.7=42.35

    46.5*0.7=32.55

    42.35*32.55=1378.4925

    2813.25-1378.4925=1434.7575

    Answer = 1435 square feet

    Current house area = 60.5 * 46.5 = 2,813.25 square feet

    Smaller House Measures 60.5*.7 (42.35) by 46.5*.7 (32.55)

    Smaller House area = 42.35 * 32.55 = 1,378.50 square feet

    Difference in square feet = 2,813.25 - 1,378.50 equals

    1,434.75 square feet
