Your wage is increased by 20%, then the new amount is cut by 20% (of the new amount).

1) Will this result in a wage, which is higher

than, lower than, or the same as the original

wage?

2) What percent of the original wage is this

final wage?

3). If the above steps were reversed (20% cut

followed by 20% increase), the final wage

would be what percent of the original wage?
