Nasir baked a pie, cut it in fourths he then took each of the piece and cut them in half. what fraction of the original pie does each piece represent?

    So 1/4ths

    the he cut each pie into 1/2

    remember that dividing by 2 is the same as multiplying by 1/2

    1/2 times 1/4=1/8

    each piece is 1/8 of the original pie
