So 2500+40 times number of animals is greater than or equal to 4000

    2500+40 times number of animals>4000

so we have 30 cats+10 dogs

    add

    30+10=40

subsitue 40 for number of animals

    2500 + (40 times 40) >4000

    40 times 40=1600

    2500+1600>4000

    2500+1600=4100

    4100>4000

    true

    the answer is YES
