    Divide 30 by 1425

    1425/30 = 47.5

Mixed number = whole number + fraction

    47 1/2 trains

The total number of passengers is 1425 passengers

In each train car, there fits 30 passengers

So the number of train cars is 1425/30 = 47.5 train cars

Which is 47 and a half

A half is 1/2 and 47 is a whole number

So the mixed number representing the number of train cars is 47 1/2 train cars.
