A farmer sold 250 of his sheep bought 35 more sheep and then bought 68 more sheep afternoon 3 died he sold another 260 if he now has 199 sheep how many sheep did he have at the beginning

    He had 609 sheep at the beginning. to solve this, take what he ended with, add back what he sold or that died, and subtract what he bought. This gives you 199+250+260+3-68-35. That equals 609.
