The length of marshalls rectangular poster is 2 times its width. if the perimeter is 24 inches, what is the ara of the pantry?

    The length equals 2 times the width. So let's say width=w Then length = 2w. Perimeter is adding all the sides so 2 lengths and 2 widths. 24=2 (2w) + 2w. 24=4w+2w. 24=6w divide each side by 6 to get 4=w. If width is 4 then length is 4x2 or 8. Area is length x width son4x8 which makes the area 32
