A stained glass window is shaped klike a semicircle. the bottom edge of the window is 36 inches long. what is the area of the stained glass window? round your answer to the nearest hundredth.

    A=pi x radius^2, diameter=36/w=18 radius

    a=3.14 x 18^2=1,017.36 since it is a semicircle, divide by 2.

    1017.36/2=508.68 inch. squared.
