In a recent survey about the types of transportation used for vacation, 36% of the 200 people surveyed chose airplanes, 53% chose automobiles, 2% chose trains, and the remainder chose boats. how many people chose boats?

    Fist lets find the % of people using boats

    100% - (36+53+2) = 9%

    then find the number of people of 9%

    200 = 100%

    B=9%

    100B=200x9

    B = 18
