    Y = 3 (x - 2) ² + 3

    y = 3 ((x - 2) (x - 2)) + 3

    y = 3 (x² - 2x - 2x + 4) + 3

    y = 3 (x² - 4x + 4) + 3

    y = 3 (x²) - 3 (4x) + 3 (4) + 3

    y = 3x² - 12x + 12 + 3

    y = 3x² - 12x + 15

    3x² - 12 + 15 = 0

    x = - (-12) + / - √ ((-12) ² - 4 (3) (15))

    2 (3)

    x = 12 + / - √ (144 - 135)

    6

    x = 12 + / - √ (9)

    6

    x = 12 + / - 3

    6

    x = 2 + / - 0.5

    x = 2 + 0.5 x = 2 - 0.5

    y = 2.5 x = 1.5

    y = 3x² - 12x + 15

    y = 3 (2.5) ² - 12 (2.5) + 15

    y = 3 (6.25) - 30 + 15

    y = 18.75 - 30 + 15

    y = - 11.25 + 15

    y = 3.75

    (x, y) = (2.5, 3.75)

    or

    y = 3x² - 12x + 15

    y = 3 (1.5) ² - 12 (1.5) + 115

    y = 3 (2.25) - 12 + 15

    y = 6.75 - 12 + 15

    y = - 5.25 + 15

    y = 9.75

    (x, y) = (1.5, 9.75)
