The number 0.127 is how much greater than 1/8?

Can you explain this so I can understand how it works?

    0
    It's 0.002 bigger. for each number to the right you go from 10th 100th 1000th. So 0.127 is. 002 thousandth much bigger. so 0 would be the unit the 1 would be the tenth the 2 would be the hundredth and the 7 is the thousandth the same goes with 1/8. you would put 1/8 in a calculator and get 0.125 so you can see the difference
