    De would be 100 feet

"100 square feet" would mean a square carpet would have sides of √100 = 10 feet

so, then 10 = 10/1 which is a rational number

13/3 is expressed in decimal format as 4.33333333 ... (the 3's are repeated indefinitely)

So, 13/3 is a rational number, but 4.33 ... can never be exactly the same as 13/3
