    H (x) = a · 2^x + 2

    5 = a · 2^0 + 2

    5 = a + 2

    a = 3

    also:

    8 = a · 2^1 + 2

    8 = 2 a + 2

    2 a = 6

    a = 3

    Answer: h (x) = 3 · 2^x + 2
