A baseball player earns $4,915 for each game that his team plays. His team plays 162 games in a season. What is a reasonable estimate for how much money the baseball player will earn?

    To estimate, round the numbers.

    So instead if 4,915 use 5000 and instead of 162 use 160.

    multiply 5000 by 160 whi h would be 900,000 or you can use 4900 and 160 instead and the answer would be 784,000 which is even closer.
