The volume V of a cube is given by the formula V=s^3, where s represents the length of an edge of the cube. Suppose the edge length is 24in. What is the volume of the cube in cubic feet?

    So since it is a cube

    all sides are equal

    s=24 is given

    therefor

    s^3=24^3=24 times 24 times 24=13824 cubic feet
